I hate Let's Plays.

No, I really do. I just can't stand the idea of lazy fucks who are too big of lazy fucks to go out and play games themselves and instead sit their lazy asses down in front of Youtube to watch some mouthbreather that thinks he's a stand-up comic play a game. Here's a spoiler for how it ends:

I used to think self-absorbed people liked to hear the sound of their own voices but this takes the cake. I remember part of the joy of catching your best friend playing a game was getting curious then going out to rent it or buy it yourself to play it as well.

Thanks for ruining things again, internet. It's bad enough that people think motivation posters are worth posting in chat rooms when 95% of them have such an obvious joke that you could just crop the picture out and call it good.

The other 5% is 'When you see it, you'll shit bricks' or ones that amount to 'olololololo boobies!'.

Back to my original point. Let's Plays are dumb and you're dumb for watching them.

Oh, but Alex! If I want to play these games, I'll have to...save up money to buy the console it's on that I might not have!

What a novel concept that is! Having to buy the system that has games you want on it! Cry me a river.

Did you fail your schoolin', kid? Competition is the thing that helps breed new ideas and keeps one fuckhead from jacking up the price purely because he doesn't have to worry about selling something cheaper than someone else. Coincidentally, this would only cause people to get angry and possibly even develop games and consoles themselves! Get outta town! That's crazy! None of this even addresses the hardware issue. Not all consoles having the same capabilities and specifications, you sad little monkey!

Here's an idea: Maybe if you actually bought games instead of watching them (and I stopped pirating them*), you might help the industry get better instead of worse.

You should be ashamed of yourself, asshole. Go out and buy some games and consoles instead of being a leech.

*While I readily admit to being a pirate, at the very least, I keep supporting the Xbox 360 and PS3 because I like them and want them to succeed as I do for most aspects of gaming. Except for the PC. I would be content if that died in a small grease fire.
